Detection is fixed

August 22, 2026
Latest

If image detection stopped finding things for you, this is the update. The vision model works again in the installed app, a chain that starts with a detection now plays the macros behind it, and the save path tells you what went wrong instead of closing on you. One thing to know: detection steps that press or hold keys now require Pro. There is a note at the bottom of this card on what that does and does not change.

Fixed 6
  • Vision-model detection - Detection that uses the vision model found nothing at all in the installed app. It works again.
  • Chains that start with a detection - A chain whose first macro is a detection now plays the macros behind it, and a macro in the chain that cannot play no longer freezes the ones behind it.
  • Saving over a macro - Saving onto an existing macro asks first, instead of quietly replacing it.
  • Save, delete and rename errors - When QHuman cannot save, delete or rename something, it tells you what went wrong and stays open, instead of closing or pretending it worked.
  • The window stays out of the way - A macro started with a hotkey, or a recording you stop, no longer pulls the QHuman window in front of your game.
  • An expired sign-in - If your sign-in expires, QHuman now says so, and one click signs you back in.
Improved 5
  • Match boxes you can see - Detection preview and Observe draw their match boxes big enough to see.
  • Sharing and importing in your language - Share and import messages now show in your language instead of English.
  • Duplicate an action - The detection editor can duplicate an action instead of rebuilding it by hand.
  • A reply to your bug report - Bug reports can include an email address, so there is somewhere to answer you.
  • Help menu - Help now links to the newsletter and the hands-on labs.
Keyboard on detectionPro Detection steps that press or hold keys now require Pro. This is not a new price or a new restriction: it is listed as Pro on the v4.2 card below and on the Store listing, and 4.3.2 is the release where the app enforces it. So a free detection that presses keys will now ask you to upgrade. Nothing else changed: free detections still click, move and scroll, and Observe (dry run) still previews a keyboard step for free.
v4.3.1

Don't lose the macro

August 13, 2026

A small release with one job. Saving a macro could close the app instead of telling you what went wrong, which is the worst possible moment to lose a window. Nothing new here, just the save path made honest.

Fixed 3
  • Saving across two drives - If your QHuman data and your temporary files sat on different drives, saving a macro could fail outright. It now completes.
  • A failed save no longer closes the app - When a save could not be written, the app shut down with an unexpected error and took the unsaved work with it. It now tells you what happened and stays open so you can try somewhere else.
  • History snapshots - A History snapshot that could not be written took the whole app down with it. It now fails on its own and leaves everything else running.
Improved 1
  • Less reporting - Crash reporting no longer tracks sessions, so QHuman stops telling the error reporter every time it opens and closes. Crashes are still reported.
v4.3

Pick your plan

August 7, 2026

QHuman Pro is no longer one price. Pay monthly, pay for a year, or pay once and keep it. Everything else in this release came out of using the detection tools in anger.

New 4
  • Yearly plan - QHuman Pro for a year at $29, instead of paying month by month.
  • Lifetime - $79 once. Nothing renews, nothing to cancel, and every update is included for as long as QHuman Pro is offered and developed.
  • Plan picker - Upgrade now asks which plan you want before it opens checkout, instead of assuming monthly.
  • Pick a colour off the screen - A magnified picker for pixel-colour conditions. It reads the area around the pixel you click, not the single pixel, and warns you when the spot is a blend rather than a solid colour.
Improved 2
  • Already subscribed? - A Get Lifetime button in the Account window moves you across without cancelling first. Switching between monthly and yearly is handled in the billing portal, and you only pay the difference.
  • Billing history - Lifetime holders get Billing history where subscribers get Manage subscription, because there is no subscription to manage. The invoice is still in there.
Fixed 3
  • Runaway detection loops - A state that loops straight back into itself ran its capture and detect cycle flat out, pinning the machine for as long as the run lived. It now waits the poll interval you set.
  • Preview match boxes - The preview screenshot is now taken with the detection instead of seconds before it, so the boxes sit on what QHuman actually saw. A correct match no longer looks like it escaped its region.
  • Tutorials link - Help → Tutorials opens the Start Here playlist again.
v4.2

Perception update

July 12, 2026

The biggest step since the rebuild. QHuman can now read the screen and act on what it finds: it doesn't just match an image, it watches it, understands it, and recovers when something misses.

New 10
  • Observe mode - Watch exactly what QHuman sees, match by match, while you build and tune a detection.
  • Read on-screen text & numbersPro - Pull values off the screen with OCR, then react to them. Free can preview readings in Observe mode.
  • Reusable skills - Save a flow once and drop it into any macro. Rename, categorize, and search your skills from the new picker.
  • Starter skills - A library of ready-made recipes (Click best match, Wait for image, Follow target, Press key on sight, and more) so a new flow never starts from a blank canvas.
  • Typo-safe names - Step and sequence names come from a picker instead of retyping. A name that matches nothing gets a warning with a did-you-mean, and renaming updates every reference.
  • Spatial awareness - Track a target as it moves and react to where it is on screen.
  • Glide & axis-lock trackingFree - Steer the cursor after a moving target, smoothly or locked to one axis.
  • Keyboard on detectionPro - Press a key when something appears, or hold keys down for as long as a state holds.
  • Share & back up your savesFree - Export macros to a .qhz file to share with a friend or move to a new PC. Imports merge into your library, and full backups live in Settings under Backup & Share.
  • Polish interface - QHuman now speaks Polish, joining English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Improved 4
  • Verify & recover - Steps that check an action landed and retry when it misses, instead of running on blind.
  • Detection editor - Name suggestions as you type, canvas panning with a Center view button, dialogs that hold their size, and a dry run to try a draft flow before saving.
  • Skill picker & insert - Skills wear plain-English names, ones that need Pro say so in the list, and a skill with inputs asks for them up front, with Browse and Capture buttons on image fields.
  • Welcome screen - A short what's-new on launch after an update, with a link straight to this page.
Fixed 3
  • Hotkey run modes - While-held and toggle now do what they say: hold to loop a macro, or press once to start and again to stop.
  • Multi-monitor capture - Snipping, previews, and detection capture now cover every display, not just the main one.
  • Reliability - A detection whose template image goes missing recovers instead of stopping, skill steps keep their names when inserted, and a rare sign-in failure is gone.
v3.1.0

Mouse-look & multi-monitor

June 18, 2026

QHuman learned to handle the "turn the camera" movement games use: record a camera pan and replay it hands-off. Plus a fix that sharpens every macro on a multi-display setup.

New 1
  • Mouse-look recording & replayPro - Capture relative camera movement, not just absolute cursor positions, and replay it exactly.
Fixed 1
  • Multi-monitor fix - Absolute moves now land correctly across multiple displays, improving every absolute macro, not just games.
v3.0

The complete rebuild

June 1, 2026

The biggest update QHuman has ever shipped: a rebuild from the ground up. Simple Click saves, Detection saves, and hotkey maps became one unified macro, and existing saves migrate automatically on first launch.

New 6
  • One unified macro model - Every automation is a macro that can hold sub-sequences, an optional hotkey, and an optional detection trigger. Search, filter, and sort to find any of them in one list.
  • Detection rebuilt as a state machineFree - Find an image or pixel and click it where it appears, match the best or all, then branch on found / not-found, retry, and loop, all with a live confidence preview.
  • Per-macro hotkeysFree - Bind any macro to its own global key combo, triggerable even while QHuman runs in the background.
  • Playlists and chains - A hotkey that plays an ordered list of macros, or a macro that continues into others when it finishes. Pro lifts both to unlimited.
  • Direct input for gamesPro - Hardware-level mouse and keyboard input for games and apps that ignore standard input events.
  • Automatic save migration - On first launch QHuman backs up your 2.x save database (never deletes it), converts every macro, and loads it ready to use.
Improved 2
  • Reliability & recovery - Better multi-monitor capture and playback, the corner fail-safe on by default, and a History dialog that restores recently-deleted items.
  • More on the Free tierFree - Detection, keyboard recording, mouse movement & scroll recording, deadzone tuning, and custom hotkeys are all Free in 3.0.
Fixed 1
  • Detection & input fixes - No dropped matches at the default threshold, accurate held-key replay with no phantom releases, correct move ordering under load, and much faster save/load on large libraries.
QHuman was rebuilt from the ground up for 3.0, so earlier 2.x updates aren't itemized here. Your old saves carry over automatically on first launch.
